The Crypt Organ

Church and memorial services, concerts and events are regularly held in the St. Michael’s crypt, often accompanied by the rich sound of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy crypt organ from 1917. The unassuming, small organ with 435 pipes was first housed here in 2008, concealed behind a wall that allows sound through. The manoeuvrable console is electrically connected to the instrument.
